The VW Atlas Cross Sport has been refreshed with a new look since 2018. One of the best aspects of the VW Atlas Cross Sport is its safety. The base, Trendline trim includes a blind-spot monitor with rear traffic assist and automatic coming and leaving home headlights. It also comes with light assist, which, when turned on, allows the car to automatically control the angle of the high beams to ensure they don’t dazzle oncoming traffic.
Another set of features included in the base trim is the side curtains, airbags for the front and rear seats, and pedestrian detection. This model also comes with a child lock on the rear doors. For added safety, you can keep it always turned on. To do this, you must take the physical key out of your key fob and insert it in a slot marked with the child lock symbol in each rear door. Ensuring peace of mind for you while you drive.
From higher trims, more features are available such as dual climate control zones, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, front and rear parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, a Fender premium audio system with 12 speakers and a subwoofer, power outlets, USB type C ports, and voice control. Plus, a feature that adds to making the car better for a family would be the light assist.
A noteworthy mention would be the Digital Cockpit Pro, a 26cm customizable dashboard cluster with several options to allow the driver to change the information shown while driving freely. These options include elevation, compass, fuel range, and time left to arrive at your destination. You can also display your navigation within the digital cockpit to ensure you focus on the road.
While the 2023 VW Atlas Cross Sport, Ottawa, only comes with an automatic transmission, it has several trim levels with varying features. Starting with the base 2.0 TSI Trendline, which starts at $40,895, it comes with the 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine. This trim also comes with 45.72cm wheels, all-season tyres, and a space saver spare tyre.
The next trim level is the 2.0 TSI Comfortline which starts at $46,395 and comes with the same engine as the Trendline. It comes standard with the all-new Digital Cockpit Pro and travel assist system, making it much more attractive to choose from over the base trim, Trendline. The Comfortline trim and every trim above it include remote start and keyless access with a push-to-start button. This trim has the same wheels and tyres as the previous one. It can also come fitted with the 3.6L six-cylinder engine at a starting price of $48,595.
After that, the fourth trim level 3.6 FSI Highline comes in at $53,295, which comes standard with a panoramic power sunroof and a Fender premium audio system with 12 speakers and a subwoofer. This trim comes with 50.80cm wheels, all-season tyres, and an extra spacer tyre.
The fifth trim level, 3.6 FSI Execline, starts at $57,295. It’s the highest trim level with several top-of-the-line features. These include the area view 360 camera system, R-line exterior design, and light assist. This trim comes with 53.34cm wheels and provides the most comfort. They also come with all-season tyres and a space saver spare tyre.
